MPD Searching for Shooting Suspect Vehicle

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's First District are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect vehicle involved in a Southeast DC shooting.

On Friday, January 26, 2024, at approximately 9:55 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of I Street Southeast for the report of sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman with gunshot wound injuries. They were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

The suspect’s vehicle, described as a white SUV, was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos below:

Anyone who has any knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
