MPD Searching for Northeast Burglary Suspects

The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a burglary in Northeast.

On Friday, February 7, 2025, at approximately 5:32 a.m., two suspects forcefully entered an establishment in the 200 block of Michigan Avenue, Northeast. Once inside, the suspects attempted to steal money from a cash register. After failing to obtain property, the suspects exited the business.

A short time later, the suspects attempted to forcefully enter a second establishment also located in the 200 block of Michigan Avenue, Northeast. After all attempts at gaining entry failed, the suspects fled the scene.

Anyone who can identify these suspects or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
