MPD Makes Arrests in Northeast Robbery

The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of one suspect involved in a robbery in Northeast.

On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., the suspects approached the victim and demanded that the victim withdraw money from an ATM while in the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue, Northeast. The victim complied, the suspects then fled the scene with the victim’s property.

On Thursday, September 4, 2025, during their routine patrol, sixth district officers located an individual matching one of the suspect’s descriptions. As a result of the investigation, 32-year-old Tayvon Parker of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Robbery.

One suspect, who remains outstanding, was caught on surveillance cameras and can be seen in the photos and video below:

Anyone who can identify this suspect or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
