The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect involved in a stabbing in Northwest.
On Saturday, January 11, 2025, at approximately 7:53 p.m., Third District officers responded to the 1700 block of Euclid Street, Northwest, for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male conscious and breathing, suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported by DC Fire and EMS to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries.
On Wednesday, January 22, 2025, as a result of the detective’s investigation, 30-year-old Leonard Hampton of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
