The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect in a robbery that occurred in Northeast.
On Thursday, December 11, 2025, at approximately 4:19 p.m., the victim was walking in the area of 18th Street and C Street, Northeast, when five suspects approached her. The first suspect, who had his hand in his pocket as if he had a weapon, demanded the victim’s cell phone. The victim complied, and all five suspects fled.
Officers quickly located one of the suspects and detained him. A 15-year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC, was placed under arrest for Robbery.
This incident remains under investigation. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
