The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect in a stabbing that occurred in Northwest.
At approximately 6:05 a.m., on Sunday, March 30, 2025, Third District officers responded to the 2000 block of 14th Street, Northwest, for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female suffering from stab wounds. DC Fire and EMS responded and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
After further investigation, detectives arrested 28-year-old Dayonna Davis of Waldorf, Maryland and charged her with Assault With a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
