The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect who stole an E-Bike from a garage in Northwest.
On Wednesday, March 2, 2025, at approximately 4:45 a.m., the suspect entered the victim’s yard in the 1200 block of 10th Street, Northwest and gained access to their garage. The suspect took an E-bike and fled the scene.
On Sunday, April 6, 2025, 55-year-old Alonzo Sheffield of Northwest, D.C. was arrested and charged with Burglary in the Second Degree.
