The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a man in three burglaries that occurred in the Third District.
In each of the below burglaries, the suspect broke into a closed business in the 1500 block of U Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property and fled the scene.

- On Saturday, September 21, 2024, at approximately 2:53 a.m. CCN: 24145904
On Saturday, September 21, 2024, 30-year-old Samora Samson Buchanan of Olney, MD was arrested and charged with three counts of Burglary Two.
