The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a stalking suspect in Northwest.
The victim reported the suspect stalked her on multiple occasions between July 5, 2024, and July 21, 2024. The incidents occurred in the Georgetown and Foggy Bottom neighborhoods. With the help of community members, the suspect was identified, located, and placed under arrest.
On Sunday, July 21, 2024, 39-year-old Delonta Deon Spriggs of Northeast, was arrested and charged with Stalking.
Detectives continue to investigate similar offenses that occurred nearby.
