The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a man for a stabbing.
On Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 6:11 p.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of Irving Street, Northwest for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, members located a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of the detectives’ investigation, 34-year-old Michael Trone, of Northwest, DC was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
