The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect involved in a burglary of a business in Northwest.
On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Third District Crime Suppression Team officers located and arrested 37-year-old Kenneth Burley, of Northeast, DC who was wanted on a DC Superior Court Bench warrant for failure to appear.
The officers’ investigation also led to Kenneth Burley being charged with Burglary Two for breaking into a business in Northwest, DC. On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at approximately 2:26 a.m., in the 2400 block of 18th Street, Northwest. He gained entry into a store, stole property from the business, and fled the scene.
