Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Youth and Family Services Division announce a man has been arrested after sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
The victim reported that the suspect engaged in sexual acts with the teenage victim between March 1, 2017, and June 30, 2017, in the 5200 block of 16th Street, Northwest. At the time of the offense, the suspect was more than 10 years older than the victim.
On Friday, February 16, 2024, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant 30-year-old Shaquille Jones of Upper Marlboro, MD, was arrested and charged with First Degree Child Sex Abuse (Rape).
