Members of the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District arrested a man for a robbery after he stole money from the victim.
On Friday, March 1, 2024, at approximately 2:44 p.m., the suspect approached the victim in the 1200 block of I Street, Northeast. The suspect reached into the victim’s jacket pocket and took money then fled the scene.
As a result of the detectives’ investigation, on Friday, March 8, 2024, 33-year-old Tysean Redmond, of Northwest, D.C., was arrested and charged with Robbery.
