Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District announce a man has been arrested in reference to a stabbing that occurred in Southeast.
On Monday, October 16, 2023, at approximately 3:14 pm, Seventh District officers responded to the 3100 block of Martin Luther King Jr., Avenue, Southeast, for the report of a stabbing. When officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult male victim suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
On Friday, October 21, 2023, 66-year-old Robert Thompson of Southeast, DC was arrest and charged with Assault with Intent to Kill (Knife).
