Man Arrested After Shooting in Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District announce a man has been arrested for a shooting that occurred on Monday, November 13, 2023, in the 3100 block of 14^th Street, Northwest.

At approximately 12:30 p.m., the suspect shot two victims and then fled the scene.  Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

On Wednesday, November 15, 2023, 20-year-old Travone Henderson of Southeast, DC, turned himself in.  He was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
