Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred on Monday, July 15, 2019, in the 1300 block of Euclid Street, Northwest.
At approximately 4:53 am, members of the Third District responded to the listed location for the report of a check on the welfare. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim, inside of a residence, suffering from multiple stab wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and determined the victim displayed no signs consistent with life. The victim remained on the scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. This case is domestic related.
The decedent has been identified as 59 year-old Ronald Jones, of Northwest, DC.
On Monday, July 15, 2019, 31 year-old Alisa Randall, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder while Armed. The detectives’ investigation revealed that this offense is domestic in nature.
