Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced several arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.
First District:
- On Wednesday, July 22, 2020, 33 year-old Derjuan Morris, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, in the 300 block of G Street, Southwest. CCN: 20-104-872
- At approximately 8:00 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect snatched the victim’s property then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
- On Friday, July 24, 2020, 22 year-old Treyvon Littles, of Northeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Friday, July 24, 2020, in the 600 block of H Street, Northwest. CCN: 20-105-730
- At approximately 3:04 am, the suspect assaulted the victim at the listed location. The suspect took property and fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
Fourth District:
- On Sunday, July 19, 2020, 20 year-old Andre Fluellyn, of Northeast, DC, was arrested for a Carjacking offense that occurred on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, in the 100 block of Irving Street, Northwest. CCN: 20-089-214
- At approximately 12:00 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect demanded the victim to exit their vehicle. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.
- On Monday, July 20, 2020, 18 year-old Richard Wise, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Monday, June 20, 2020, in the 6700 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest. CCN: 20-103-994
- At approximately 8:45 am, the suspect approached the victims at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victims and took their property. The suspect then fled the scene.
Sixth District:
- On Saturday, July 18, 2020, 25 year-old Shaquille Pittman, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, July 18, 2020, in the 4300 block of Polk Street, Northeast. CCN: 20-103-311
- At approximately 5:32 pm, while the victim was giving the suspect a ride to their destination, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene.
