Arrests Made in Robbery Offenses

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.

 

First District:

 

  • On Monday, January 25, 2021, 37 year-old Quintina Hood, of no fixed address, was arrested for an Assault With Intent to Commit Robbery offense that occurred on Saturday, January 23, 2021, in the 700 block of 13th Street, Southeast. CCN: 21-010-223
    • At approximately 6:47 am, the suspect was inside of a residence with the victim at the listed location. The suspect demanded US currency from the victim. When the victim refused, the suspect assaulted the victim then fled the scene without obtaining any property. The victim was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.  

 

Fourth District:

 

  • On Sunday, January 24, 2021, a 17 year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for two Robbery (Force and Violence) offenses that occurred on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at the following locations:
    • At approximately 5:21 pm, in the 1300 block of Kennedy Street, Northwest, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim, took the victim’s property, and then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation. CCN: 21-010-803
    • At approximately 6:52 pm, in the 200 block of Taylor Street, Northeast, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim, took the victim’s property, and then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation. CCN: 21-010-843

 

Fifth District:

 

  • On Saturday, January 23, 2021, 27 year-old Dawanda Cobbs, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Saturday, January 23, 2021, in the 1100 block of Montello Avenue, Northeast. CCN: 21-010-287
    • At approximately 11:22 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspect then fled the scene but was apprehended by responding officers.
