Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced several arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.
First District:
On Tuesday, June 9, 2020, 21 year-old Anthony Davis, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for an Unarmed Carjacking offense that occurred on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, in the 1000 block of M Street, Southeast. CCN: 20-085-334
At approximately 12:32 am, the suspect approached the victim, who was in a vehicle, at the listed location. The suspect opened the vehicle’s door and demanded the victim to exit the vehicle. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
Third District:
On Monday, June 8, 2020, a 17 year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for the following offenses that occurred on Monday, June 8, 2020.
Robbery (Force and Violence): At approximately 11:15 pm, in the 3100 block of 16th Street, Northwest, the suspects approached the victims at the listed location. One of the suspects went into the victim’s pants pocket and took property. The second suspect attempted to take property from the second victim. The suspects then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation. CCN: 20-084-773
Armed Robbery (Gun): At approximately 12:00 am, in the 3000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene. One of the suspects was apprehended by responding officers. Fourth District:
On Sunday, June 7, 2020, 57 year-old David White, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Sunday, June 7, 2020, in the 1400 block of Perry Place, Northwest. CCN: 20-084-730
At approximately 10:00 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect took the victim’s property, assaulted the victim, and then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
Seventh District:
On Thursday, June 10, 2020, 16 year-old Lamar Fenner, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged as an adult for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Thursday, June 10, 2020, in the 3200 block of 8th Street, Southeast. CCN: 20-086-188
At approximately 6:29 pm, the suspect approached the victims at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the victims’ property. The victims complied and the suspect fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
