Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced several arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.
First District:
- On Friday, September 20, 2019, 18 year-old Dominique Peterkin, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Friday, September 20, 2019 in the 300 block of 9th Street, Southeast. CCN: 19-167-732.
- At approximately 10:54 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim and took their property. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
- On Sunday, September 22, 2019, 24 year-old Roy Peters, Jr., of District Heights, MD, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, September 22, 2019 in the 600 block of 12th Street, Northeast. CCN: 19-169-122.
- At approximately 11:32 am, the suspect approached the victims at the listed location. The suspect brandished a weapon and took their property. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
- On Wednesday, September 25, 2019, 25 year-old Jalen Teamer, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in the 1600 block of C Street, Southeast. CCN: 19-170-983.
- At approximately 10:24 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim and took their property. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
Second District:
- On Saturday, September 21, 2019, three 13 year-old juvenile males, all of Northwest, DC, were arrested for Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Saturday, September 21, 2019 in the 1800 block of Wisconsin Avenue, Northwest. CCN: 19-168-754.
- At approximately 9:00 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and took their property. The suspects were apprehended by responding officers.
- On Monday, September 23, 2019, 53 year-old Robert Murrell, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for Assault with Intent to Commit a Robbery offense that occurred on Monday, September 23, 2019 in the 1100 block of 14th Street, Northwest. CCN: 19-170-051.
- At approximately 8:27 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim and attempted to take property. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
Third District:
- On Wednesday, September 25, 2019, a 13 year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Sunday, August 5, 2019 in the 3100 block of 13th Street, Northwest. CCN: 19-150-848.
- At approximately 4:00 am, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and took their property. The suspects then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.
- On Wednesday, September 25, 2019, a 15 year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in the 1400 block of Irving Street, Northwest. CCN: 19-171-255.
- At approximately 5:59 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect snatched the victim’s property. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
Fifth District:
- On Wednesday, September 25, 2019, two 17 year-old juvenile males, both of Northeast, DC, were arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 in the 1200 block of 4th Street, Northeast. CCN: 19-171-169.
- At approximately 4:06 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and took their property. The suspects were apprehended by responding officers.
Sixth District
- On Monday, September 23, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 25 year-old Saquan Scruggs, of Northeast, DC, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, November 19, 2018 in the 3200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast. CCN: 18-196-888.
- At approximately 1:14 pm, the suspects approached the victims at the listed location. The suspects brandished a weapon and took their property. The suspects then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.
Seventh District:
- On Thursday, September 26, 2019, two 14 year-old juvenile males, both of Southeast, DC, were arrested for Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Thursday, September 26, 2019 in the 3300 block of Stanton Road, Southeast. CCN: 19-171-984.
- At approximately 7:28 pm, the suspects approached the victims at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victims and took their property. The suspects were apprehended by responding officers. This case remains under investigation.
