Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced several arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.
Third District:
- On Friday, June 21, 2019, a 14 year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, and a 15 year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, were arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in the 1700 block of Euclid Street, Northwest. CCN: 19-106-021.
- At approximately 3:52 am, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects both brandished handguns and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene.
Fifth District:
- On Wednesday, June 19, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 16 year-old juvenile male, of Capitol Heights, MD, was arrested for a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 in the 1800 block of Taylor Street, Northeast. CCN: 19-069-995.
- At approximately 8:30pm, the suspect entered the victim’s vehicle at the listed location. As the suspect exited the victim’s vehicle, the suspect snatched the victim’s property and fled the scene.
- On Tuesday, June 18, 2019, a 16 year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, June 17, 2019 in the 1100 block of 19th Street, Northeast. CCN: 19-105-332.
- At approximately 1:10am, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects demanded the victim’s car keys and brandished a handgun. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. This case remains under investigation.
- On Thursday, June 20, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 17-year-old juvenile male, of Southwest, DC, was arrested for two robbery offenses that occurred in the Fifth District.
- On Friday, February 22, 2019, the suspect approached the victim on the Metropolitan Bike Trail. The suspect assaulted the victim and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene. Robbery (Force and Violence) CCN: 19-031-521

- On Tuesday, February 26, 2019, two suspects approached the victim on the Metropolitan Bike Trail. The suspects assault the victim then took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation. Robbery (Force and Violence) CCN: 19-033-844
Sixth District:
- On Wednesday, June 19, 2019, 24 year-old Chauncey Anderson, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in the 3700 block of Jay Street, Northeast. CCN: 19-106-568.
- At approximately 12:16 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location and asked to use their cellphone. The victim refused and the suspect snatched the victim’s property. The suspect then fled the scene.
- On Thursday, June 20, 2019, two 14 year-old juvenile males of Southeast, DC, were arrested for an Assault with Intent to Commit Robbery offense that occurred on Thursday, June 20, 2019 in the 4400 block of E Street, Southeast. CCN: 19-107-862.
- At approximately 9:43 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location and asked for money. The suspects then assaulted the victim and fled the scene without obtaining any property.
