Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced several arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.
First District:
- On Thursday, June 13, 2019, 44 year-old Dartagnon Howard, of Northeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Thursday, June 13, 2019, in the 1200 block of Half Street, Southwest. CCN: 19-103-153.
- At approximately 6:30 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect then snatched the victim’s property and fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
Second District
- On Saturday, June 8, 2019, 44 year-old Jason Catalfano of Northwest, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force & Violence) offense that occurred on Saturday, June 8, 2019 in the 1100 block of 34th Street, Northwest. CCN: 19-099-454.
- At approximately 12:28 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspect then fled the scene.
Third District:
- On Monday, June 10, 2019, 31 year-old Arquimedes Robles, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Monday, May 27, 2019, in the 1900 block of 14th Street, Northwest. CCN: 19-091-295
- At approximately 4:04 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspect then fled the scene.
- On Monday, June 10, 2019, a 16 year-old juvenile male of Northeast, DC, a 17 year-old juvenile of no fixed address, a 16 year-old juvenile male of Southeast, DC, a 17 year-old juvenile male of Northeast, DC, and 18 year-old Tatianna Johnson of Northwest, DC, were arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Monday, June 10, 2019, in the 1500 block of 11th Street, Northwest. CCN: 19-100-751.
- At approximately 1:28 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene.
- On Thursday, June 13, 2019, a 13 year-old juvenile male of Northwest, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Thursday, June 13, 2019 in the 2200 block of 13th Street, Northwest. CCN: 19-102-839.
- At approximately 10:14 am, the suspect approached the victim from behind at the listed location and took the victim’s property. The suspect fled the scene.
Fourth District
- On Tuesday, June 11, 2019, two 14-year-old juvenile males, of Northwest, DC, were arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, in the 3600 block of Georgia Avenue, NW. CCN: 19-101-846
- At approximately 5:48 pm, three suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene. Two of the suspects were apprehended by responding officers. This case remains under investigation.
Sixth District:
- On Monday, June 10, 2019, 26-year-old Sylvia Valentine, of Northeast, DC, was arrested for an Assault With Intent to Commit Robbery offense that occurred on Monday, June 10, 2019, in the 5800 block of Foote Street, NE. CCN: 19-100-878
- At approximately 10:27 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and demanded the victim’s property. The victim refused. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
