Arrests Made in Multiple Robbery Offenses

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced several arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.

First District:

On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, a 14-year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, in the 800 block of 3rd Street, Southeast. CCN: 19-079-163

At approximately 4:48 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim refused to comply and a struggle ensued. The suspects then fled the scene. One of the suspects was apprehended by responding officers. This case remains under investigation.

Third District:

On Saturday, May 4, 2019, 32 year-old Delino Alexander, of Temple Hills, MD, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Saturday, May 4, 2019, in the 2000 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest. CCN: 19-076-566

At approximately 4:48 pm, the suspect assaulted the victim at the listed location. The suspect took the victim’s property then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

On Sunday, May 5, 2019, 31 year-old Dilonte Parker, of No Fixed Address, was arrested for a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Sunday, May 5, 2019, in the 1400 block of Columbia Road, Northwest. CCN: 19-076-890

At approximately 10:25 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect snatched the victim’s property then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

Fourth District:

On Monday, May 6, 2019, a 15-year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, in the 3700 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest. CCN: 19-069-110

At approximately 5:57 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.

On Monday, May 6, 2019, a 12-year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Thursday, April 25, 2019, in the 4100 block of Kansas Avenue, Northwest. CCN: 19-070-237

At approximately 9:34 am, three suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene. This case is now closed.

Fifth District:

On Monday, May 6, 2019, a 16 year-old juvenile male, of Greenbelt, MD, was arrested for an Assault with Intent to Commit Robbery offense that occurred on Monday, May 6, 2019, in the 2100 block of H Street, Northeast. CCN: 19-077-333

At approximately 3:30 am, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects assaulted the victim and attempted to take the victim’s property. The suspect was unsuccessful. The suspects then fled the scene. One of the suspects was apprehended by responding officers. This case remains under investigation.

On Monday, May 6, 2019, a 16 year-old juvenile male, of Greenbelt, MD, and 18-year-old Marcos Kimball McMillion, of Greenbelt, MD, were arrested for an Armed Robbery (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, May 6, 2019, in the 2100 block of H Street, Northeast. CCN: 19-077-807

At approximately 6:22 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a knife and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied and gave the suspect his property. The suspects then fled the scene. The suspects were apprehended by responding officers.

On Tuesday, May 7, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 48 year-old William Barnes, of Northeast, DC, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Friday, December 28, 2018, in the 3100 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northeast. CCN: 18-220-311

At approximately 8:57 pm, the suspect approached the victim inside of an establishment at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the store employee give him money from the cash register. The store employee complied and the suspect fled the scene.
