Arrests Made in Multiple Robbery Offenses

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced several arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.

 

 

First District:

 

  • On Sunday, March 3, 2019, 20-year-old Andre Allen, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for an Assault with Intent to Commit Robbery while Armed (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, March 3, 2019, in the 300 block of 16th Street, Southeast. CCN: 19-036-773
    • At approximately 9:30 pm, the suspect approached the victims at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun, assaulted one of the victims, and demanded property. The victims and the suspect fled the location, and no property was taken. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

 

  • On Thursday, March 7, 2019, a 17-year-old Juvenile Male, and 18-year-old Muhnee Bailey, both of St. Paul, MN were arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Thursday, March 7, 2019, in the 500 block of C Street, Southwest. CCN: 19-039-061
    • At approximately 5:02 pm, the suspects approached the victims at the listed location. The suspects pushed the victim and demanded US currency. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene. The suspects were apprehended by responding officers.

 

 

Third District:

 

  • On Sunday, March 3, 2019, 43-year-old Zaid Morgan, of Southwest, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Sunday, March 3, 2019, in the 2200 block of 15th Street, Northwest. CCN: 19-036-324
    • At approximately 11:54 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspect was arrested by responding officers.

 

Fourth District:

 

  • On Sunday, March 3, 2019, 37-year-old Andrew Tillman, of Southeast, DC, and 30-year-old Whittney Mowrer, of Northwest, DC, were arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Sunday, March 3, 2019, in the 1300 block of Quincy Street, Northwest. CCN: 19-036-360
    • At approximately 12:30 am, two suspects approached the victim and snatched a cell phone from the victim’s pocket. Once of the suspects then assaulted the victim then both suspects fled on foot. The suspects were arrested by responding officers.

 

  • On Thursday, March 7, 2019, a 14-year-old Juvenile Male, and on Friday, March 8, 2019 a 14-year-old Juvenile Male, both of Northeast, DC, were arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Thursday, March 7, 2019, in the 5500 block of South Dakota Avenue, Northeast. CCN: 19-038-972
    • At approximately 3:27 pm, three suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property then fled the scene. During a canvass, one of the suspects was arrested by responding officers. On March 8th, the second suspect was located and placed under arrest. This case remains under investigation.

 

Fifth District:

 

  • On Thursday, March 7, 2019, a 17-year-old Juvenile Male, of Northeast, DC, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Thursday, February 21, 2019, in the 1100 block of Florida Avenue, Northeast. CCN: 19-030-777
    • At approximately 8:10 pm, three suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. When the victim complied, a second suspect assaulted the victim. The suspects then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.

 

 

Sixth District:

 

  • On Monday, March 4, 2019, a 16-year-old Juvenile Male, of Hyattsville, MD, was arrested for a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Monday, March 4, 2019, in the 1600 block of Kenilworth Avenue, Northeast. CCN: 19-037-219
    • At approximately 4:50 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect pushed the victim to the ground and took her property then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

 

  • On Wednesday, March 6, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 18-year-old Mikail Williams, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Tuesday, February 13, 2019, in the 4700 block of C Street, Southeast. CCN: 19-025-979
    • At approximately 4:56 pm, three suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and took US currency. The suspect then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.

 

  • On Thursday, March 7, 2019, pursuant to DC Superior Court custody order, a 16-year-old Juvenile Male, of Northeast, DC, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, October 28, 2018, in the 5300 block of Ames Street, Northeast. CCN: 18-182-972
    • At approximately 1:05 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and the second suspect demanded US currency. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.

 

Seventh District:

 

· On Saturday, March 2, 2019, 30-year-old Darryn Xavier Thomas, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on January 22, 2019, in the 3900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Southwest. CCN: 19-012-328

  • At approximately 1:42 pm, two suspects entered an establishment at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and took items from the establishment. The suspects then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation

 

· On Wednesday, March 6, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 15-year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on October 6, 2018, in the 1400 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast. CCN: 18-169-603

  • At approximately 9:18 pm, four suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects assaulted the victim and then the suspects took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.
