Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced two arrests have been made in reference to a Kidnapping while Armed (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, May 26, 2019, in the 5300 block of Colorado Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 7:00 pm, the victim was held by gunpoint, inside a residence, by the suspects at the listed location. The victim was not injured during the offense. Responding officers apprehended the suspects.
On Sunday, May 26, 2019, 54-year-old Valerie Hart and 26-year-old Jessica Curtis, both of Northwest, DC, were arrested and charged with Kidnapping while Armed (Gun).
