Arrests Made in Carjacking, Robbery (Force and Violence) and Theft One (Stolen Auto) Offenses in the Third District

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District and the Carjacking Task Force announce arrests have been made in reference to Carjacking, Robbery (Force and Violence) and Theft One (Stolen Auto) offenses that occurred in the Third District.

 

  • Theft One (Stolen Auto): On Tuesday, December 29, 2020, the suspects entered a vehicle left running unattended in the 2100 block 18th Street, Northwest. The suspects then fled the scene in the vehicle. The vehicle has been recovered. CCN: 20-184-046

 

  • Robbery (Force and Violence): On Wednesday, December 30, 2020, the suspects approached the victim in the 1000 block of 9th Street, Northeast. One of the suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene. CCN: 20-184-243

 

  • Carjacking: On Saturday, January 2, 2021, the suspects approached the victim, who was seated in their vehicle, in the 1400 block of U Street, Northwest. The suspects demanded the victim to exit the vehicle and the victim complied. The suspects then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. CCN: 21-000-768

 

On Thursday, February 4, 2021, a 14 year-old juvenile female, of Northeast, DC, and a 15 year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, were arrested and charged with the above offenses.
