Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have announced two arrests have been made in reference to a Carjacking offense that occurred on Friday, July 26, 2019, in the 600 block of Florida Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 11:45 PM, the victim was inside of a vehicle at the listed location. The victim was approached by two suspects. One suspect smashed the front driver side window and pulled the victim out of the vehicle. Both suspects gained access to the vehicle and then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. The suspects then struck two vehicles and fled the scene on foot.
On Monday, July 29, 2019, 38 year-old Henry Williams, of Glenn Dale, MD, and 27 year-old Tyrone Hall, of Northwest, DC, and were arrested and charged with Carjacking.
