Arrests Made in an Attempt to Commit Robbery while Armed (Knife) Offense: 1300 Block of Irving Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District announce arrests have been made in reference to an Attempt to Commit Robbery while Armed (Knife) offense that occurred on Thursday, January 7, 2021, in the 1300 Block of Irving Street, Northwest.

 

At approximately 6:25 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a knife and demanded the victim’s property. When the attempt failed, the suspects fled the scene without obtaining property. 

 

On Tuesday, February 9, 2021, pursuant to DC Superior Court custody orders, a 13 year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, and a 13 year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC, were arrested and charged with Attempt to Commit Robbery while Armed (Knife).
