Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fourth District announced two arrests have been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Friday, June 5, 2020, in the 3600 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest.
At approximately 9:57 am, officers from the Fourth District observed two suspects engaged in a fight with a victim at the listed location. The officers apprehended the suspects. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
On Friday, June 5, 2020, 22 year-old Michael Coghill, of Northeast, DC was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Bat), and a 17 year-old juvenile female, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
