Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District have announced two arrests have been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, March 4, 2019, in the 100 block of Mississippi Avenue, Southeast.

At approximately 7:05 pm, two suspects engaged in a verbal altercation with the victim at the listed location. One suspect brandished a handgun as the other suspect assaulted the victim. The suspects were apprehended by responding officers. A firearm was recovered by arresting officers.

On Monday, March 4, 2019, 44 year-old Elton Devonne Harper, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) and 38-year-old Seteria Johnson, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault.
