Arrest Made in Robbery Offenses in the Third District

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District announce an arrest has been made in Robbery offenses that occurred on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, in the Third District.

• Armed Robbery (Knife): At approximately 11:30 pm, the suspect approached the victim in the 2900 Sherman Avenue, Northwest. The suspect brandished a knife and demanded property from the victim. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene. CCN: 22125713

• Attempted Armed Robbery (Knife): At approximately 11:38 pm, the suspect approached the victims in the 3300 block of 11^th Street, Northwest. The suspect brandished a knife and demanded the victims’ property. The suspect fled the scene without obtaining any property.  CCN: 22125502

• Armed Robbery (Knife): At approximately 11:40 pm, the suspect approached the victim in the 1100 block of Park Road, Northwest. The suspect brandished a knife and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene. CCN: 22136722

On Wednesday, September 21, 2022, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 16-year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with the above offenses.
