Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Friday, July 10, 2020, in the 700 block of Girard Street, Northwest.
At approximately 3:50 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene.
On Thursday, February 11, 2021, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 31 year-old Amos Jones, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Robbery (Force and Violence).
