Arrest Made in a Robbery of Establishment Offense: 200 block of Cedar Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Robbery of Establishment offense that occurred on Monday, October 22, 2018, in the 200 block of Cedar Street, Northwest.

 

At approximately 1:46 am, the suspect entered the establishment at the listed location. The suspect motioned as if he had a weapon in his pocket and demanded US currency. The suspect reached into the register and took US currency then fled the scene.

 

On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 48 year-old Julian Byrd, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Robbery of Establishment.
