Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to multiple Burglary offenses that occurred at the following locations:
- Burglary One: On Friday, January 18, 2019, at approximately 5:02 pm, in the 600 block of Monroe Street, Northeast, the suspect entered an occupied residence and took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-010-353
- Burglary One: On Sunday, January 20, 2019, at approximately 9:40 am, in the 600 block of Monroe Street, Northeast, the suspects entered an occupied residence and took property then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation. CCN: 19-011-222
- Theft Two: On Sunday, January 20, 2019, at approximately 12:12 pm, in the 600 block of Monroe Street, Northeast, the suspect took the victim’s property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-011-249
- Theft Two: On Thursday, January 31, 2019, at approximately 11:34 am, in the 600 block of Monroe Street, Northeast, the suspect took the victim’s property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-017-853
- Burglary Two: On Thursday, February 14, 2019, at approximately 6:48 pm, in the 700 block of Hamlin Street, Northeast, the suspect forcibly entered a residence and took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-026-726
- Robbery (Force and Violence): On Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at approximately 10:24 pm, in the 600 block of Edgewood Street, Northeast, four suspects assaulted the victim and took property then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation. CCN: 19-029-792
- Burglary Two: On Monday, February 25, 2019, at approximately 8:30 am, in the 600 block of Michigan Avenue, Northeast, the suspect entered a residence and took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-033-209
- Burglary One: On Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at approximately 6:50 am, in the 600 block of Monroe Street, Northeast, the suspect entered an occupied residence and took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-038-153
On Thursday, March 7, 2019, 18 year-old Rondale Edwards, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with three counts of Burglary One, two counts of Burglary Two, two counts of Theft Two, and one count of Robbery (Force and Violence).
