Arrest Made in Offense of Sending Obscene Material to a Minor

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Youth and Family Services Division and Special Agents from Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Washington Field Office, Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an offense of Sending Obscene Material to a Minor, which occurred in the District of Columbia.

 

In December 2018, the suspect used an electronic device to send obscene images and videos to a juvenile victim.

 

On Friday August 2, 2019, pursuant to a US District Court arrest warrant, 50-year-old Jesse Mathis, of Northeast Washington, DC, was arrested and charged with Sending Obscene Material to a Minor.
