Arrest Made in Multiple Robbery Offenses

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division have announced an arrest has been made in reference to multiple Robbery offenses that occurred at the following locations:

Second District:

Robbery (Snatch): On Thursday, May 30, 2019, in the 1700 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest, at approximately 12:50 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects snatched the victim’s property and fled the scene. CCN: 19-093-591

Third District:

Robbery (Snatch): On Tuesday, March 19, 2019, in the 1700 block of U Street, Northwest, at approximately 8:20 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects snatched the victim’s property and fled the scene. CCN: 19-046-695

Robbery (Snatch): On Thursday, May 30, 2019, in the 1800 block of Columbia Road, Northwest, at approximately 1:00 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects snatched the victim’s property and fled the scene. CCN: 19-093-594

Robbery (Snatch): On Tuesday, June 4, 2019, in the 1100 block of U Street, Northwest, at approximately 11:07 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects snatched the victim’s property and fled the scene. CCN: 19-097-291

Robbery (Snatch): On Thursday, June 6, 2019, in the 3000 block of 15th Street, Northwest, at approximately 4:40 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects took the victim’s property and fled the scene. CCN: 19-098-448

Fifth District:

Theft One (Scooter): On Friday, June 7, 2019, in the 1200 block of 18th Street, Northeast, at approximately 3:14 pm, three suspects took the victim’s scooter at the listed location. The victim approached the suspects. One of the suspects brandished a handgun. The suspects then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. CCN: 19-099-112

On Friday, June 7, 2019, a 15 year-old Juvenile Male, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Theft One and five (5) Robbery (Snatch) offenses.
