Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch announced an arrest has been made in reference to a homicide that occurred on Saturday, June 8, 2019, in the 800 Block of Crittenden Street, Northwest.
At approximately 12:58 am, members of the Fourth District responded to the listed location for the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, members located an unconscious adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and determined the victim displayed no signs consistent with life. The victim remained on the scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
The decedent has been identified as 46 year-old Bryant McClain, of No Fixed Address.
On Friday, March 13, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force located and arrested 29 year-old Davon Patterson, of Northwest, DC. He has been charged with First Degree Murder while Armed (Premeditated).
