Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch announced an arrest has been made in a homicide that occurred on Saturday, February 15, 2020, in the 100 block of N Street, Northwest.
At approximately 5:59 pm, members of the Third District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to a local hospital. After all life-saving efforts failed, the victim was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 34 year-old Eugene Isaac, Jr., of no fixed address.
On Friday, April 17, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force located and arrested 36 year-old Lejeevan Toudle, of Northeast, DC. He has been charged with First Degree Murder while Armed (Felony Murder).
This case remains under investigation.
