Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department Youth and Family Services Division’s Physical and Sexual Abuse Branch have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Enticing a Minor offense that occurred on Monday, January 6, 2020, in the 500 block of C Street, Southwest.
At approximately 3:15 am, the suspect attempted to entice the juvenile to engage in sexual acts and had sexual suggestive contact with the juvenile. The suspect was apprehended by responding by officers.
On January 6, 2020, 44 year-old James Lea, of Southwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Enticing a Minor and Misdemeanor Sexual Abuse of a Minor.
