Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Carjacking offense that occurred on Monday, May 13, 2019, in the 6000 block of 7th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 9:20 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect threatened the victim and demanded the keys to the victim’s vehicle. The victim complied and the suspects entered the vehicle and fled the scene.
On Wednesday, June 5, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court Custody Order, a 16 year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Carjacking.
This case remains under investigation.
