Arrest Made in a Burglary Two Offense: 800 Block of New Jersey Avenue, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's First District  announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Burglary Two offense that occurred on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, in the 800 block of New Jersey Avenue, Southeast.

 

At approximately 10:23 pm, two suspects gained entry to a construction site at the listed location. Once inside, the suspects damaged property and then fled the scene.

 

On Thursday, May 21, 2020, a 16-year-old juvenile male, of Fort Washington, MD, was arrested and charged with Burglary Two.

 

This case remains under investigation.
