Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District announce an arrest has been made in reference to a Burglary Two offense that occurred on Friday, December 20, 2019, in the 800 block of 17th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 8:23 pm, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect took property then fled the scene.
On Wednesday, January 22, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 39-year-old Maurice Smith, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Burglary Two.
