Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Burglary Two offense that occurred on Thursday, April 11, 2019, in the 3200 block of Ely Place, Southeast.
At approximately 11:54 pm, the suspect entered an unoccupied residence at the listed location. The suspect took property and then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. A firearm was recovered at the time of his arrest.
On Thursday, April 11, 2019, 33 year-old Eugene Chapman, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Burglary Two While Armed.
