Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fourth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to Burglary Two offenses and an Unlawful Entry Offense that occurred in the Fourth District at the following locations:
- Burglary Two: On Friday, September 25, 2020, at approximately 2:45 am, the suspect forcibly entered an establishment in the 3500 Block of 13th Street, Northwest. The suspect fled the scene before MPD arrived. CCN: 20-136-930
- Burglary Two: On Sunday, September 27, 2020, between the hours of 9:06 am and 10:18 am, the suspect entered a residence in the 4200 block of Mathewson Drive, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN 20-137-940
- Unlawful Entry: On Sunday, September 27, 2020, at approximately 1:55 am, the suspect entered a residence in the 4200 block of Mathewson Drive, Northwest. The suspect fled the scene before MPD arrived. CCN 20-137-848
On Wednesday, February 3, 2021, 51 year-old Vernon Bryant, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with the above offenses.
