Arrest Made in a Burglary One While Armed (Gun) Offense: 600 Block of Quincy Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Burglary One While Armed (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, in the 600 block of Quincy Street, Northwest.

 

At approximately 2:00 am, four suspects entered an occupied residence at the listed location. Once inside, the suspects detained the victims and took the victims’ property. The suspects then fled the scene.

 

On Monday, February 4, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 32-year-old Dewight Gilbert, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Burglary One While Armed (Gun).

 

This case remains under investigation.
