Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Burglary One while Armed (Gun) offense that occurred on Friday, November 1, 2019, in the 2900 block of Pomeroy Road, Southeast.
At approximately 11:39 pm, the suspects forcibly entered an occupied residence at the listed location. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded property. The victim complied and the suspects took US currency then fled the scene.
On Friday, November 8, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 34 year-old Maurice Kerrick, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Burglary One while Armed (Gun).
