Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to a Burglary One offense that occurred on Monday, February 15, 2021, in the 3000 block of Bladensburg Road, Northeast.
At approximately 9:15 pm, the suspects forcibly entered an occupied residence at the listed location. Once inside, the suspects assaulted the victim and took property. The suspects then fled the scene.
On Thursday, April 1, 2021, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 23 year-old Khalif Simpkins, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Burglary One.
