Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to multiple offenses that occurred in the Third District.
- Theft I (Stolen Auto): On Monday, March 18, 2019, in the 100 block of V Street, Northwest, at approximately 9:23 am, the suspect took the victim’s vehicle then fled the scene. CCN: 19-045-648
- Armed Robbery (Gun)/Theft I (Stolen Auto): On Monday, May 13, 2019, in the Unit block of U Street, Northwest, at approximately 8:06 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s vehicle. The victim complied and the suspect entered the vehicle and fled the scene. CCN: 19-081-982
- Burglary One/Theft I (Stolen Auto): On Wednesday, May 29, 2019, in the 1800 block of 1st Street, Northwest, at approximately 9:30 am, the suspect entered an occupied residence at the listed location. The suspect took the victim’s property. The suspect then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. CCN: 19-092-765
- Burglary One: On Friday, May 31, 2019, in the 1800 block of 1st Street, Northwest, at approximately 8:40 am, the suspect entered an occupied residence at the listed location. The suspect took the victim’s property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-094-149
- Unlawful Entry: On Tuesday, June 25, 2019, in the Unit block of V Street, Northwest, at approximately 8:46 am, the suspect unlawfully entered an occupied residence at the listed location. The suspect then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. CCN: 19-110-628
On Tuesday, June 25, 2019, 18 year-old Jarvis J. Burl, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with one count of Armed Robbery, one count of Unlawful Entry, two counts of Burglary One, and three counts of Theft I (Stolen Auto)
