Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division and the FBI’s Violent Crime Task Force announce an arrest has been made in reference to an attempted unarmed bank robbery that occurred on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, in the 900 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northeast.
At approximately 6:07 pm, the suspect gained entry to a bank at the listed location. The suspect attempted to take currency but was unsuccessful. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, 49 year-old Paul Martin, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Robbery.
