Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with Intent to Kill while Armed (Knife) offense that occurred on Thursday, September 19, 2019, in the 3600 block of 16th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 6:24 pm, the suspect and victim were engaged in a verbal altercation, inside a residential building, at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries. The detectives’ investigation at the scene revealed that this was a dispute between known parties. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Thursday, September 19, 2019, 26 year-old Adam Dula, of Temple Hills, MD, was arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Kill while Armed (Knife).
